In response to the rise in measles case activity within Ontario and globally, Public Health Sudbury & Districts encourages all health care providers to join the webinar below.

Webinar opportunity

Public Health Ontario (PHO) will provide an update on measles in Ontario including an overview of updated resources and guidance and common questions from the field on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. EST. The session will be presented by Dr. Sarah Wilson, Dr. Maureen Cividino, and Dr. Maan Hasso and topics include:

• Immunization recommendations
• Contact management and considerations for post exposure prophylaxis
• Updated Infection Prevention and Control recommendations for Health Care Workers providing care for patients with suspect or confirmed measles
• Laboratory testing and interpretation
