FOR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION
As the rollout of COVID-19 vaccine continues across Ontario, the Centre for Effective Practice (CEP) has published a COVID-19 vaccine resource centre for health professionals. This resource centre is intended to assist health care providers in counselling clients on the types of COVID-19 vaccines available, as well as to build confidence and address vaccine hesitancy. In addition to circulating this resource, this Advisory Alert highlights key information within the resource centre.
COVID-19 Vaccine Resource Centre: Key Information
- COVID-19 vaccine administration.
- Emerging evidence on specific populations, adverse events, and dosage intervals.
- Specifics on the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Janssen (Johnson & Johnson), and Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines.
- COVID-19 vaccination in primary care.
- Patient-specific resources on the COVID-19 vaccines.
Due to the ever-changing nature of information on the COVID-19 vaccines, the CEP will update these resources regularly. It is encouraged that you bookmark the COVID-19 vaccine resource centre and check back regularly.
