Taking care of yourself
Taking care of yourself is important so that you are better able to take care of your baby. You can do this by making sure you:
- Get plenty of rest and breaks.
- Take time for yourself to do things that you enjoy.
- Eat healthy and keep hydrated.
- Exercise moderately (once your health care provider gives you the go ahead).
- Talk with somebody (partner, friends, family, counselor, etc.).
- Use your support system to help you.
- Know when to seek help.
