- A standard sized beer is 341ml (12oz) of 5% alcohol
- A standard sized cooler, cider, or ready-to-drink beverage is 341ml (12oz) of 5% alcohol
- A standard sized wine is 142ml (5oz) of 12% alcohol
- A standard sized spirits (whisky, vodka, gin,etc.) is 43ml (1.5oz) of 40% alcohol
When no use is safest
- Driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery and tools
- Taking medicine or other drugs that interact with alcohol
- Doing any kind of high-risk physical activity
- Being responsible for the safety of others
